Honestly no complaints. Lots of goodies for breakfast. Comfortably furnished rooms with good shower, a private bathroom, for example, amicable staff. Location close enough to bars and restaurants, Mérida, and the very city centre.

the setting was quite magnificent within easy reach of an arch bridge.
Unfortunately Wi-Fi signal was very weak.

Loved the place, it was pleasant and worked for me. The staff were pretty friendly yet not intrusive. This was a good and magnificent location really close to the Alcazaba and Roman Bridge, and old town, bars and restaurants and all the historical sights. Plus it was max 15 mins walk to the lake.

The National Museum of Roman Art is as close to the hotel as the nearest cookie jar at a children's party. Amenities include a fancy fridge and electric kettle for all your tea-drinking needs. Make sure to kindly inform them if you require parking, as they don't read minds.
I loved everything so much that I wish I could have stayed forever. Oh well, maybe next time!

Great location, close to parking, Plaza de España, Alcazaba, Teatro Romano, and Anfiteatro. Easy check-in process with key collection from a code-accessed box. Helpful and attentive staff who called to provide necessary information. Clean and tidy bedrooms and shower rooms. Attractive decor in lobbies and landings.
Lobby not very private or secure. Bedroom window overlooking landing area with a flimsy blind.

The location of Hostal Senero was fantastic, just a short walk away from the main attractions in the city. It was also close to a large underground parking area, which was convenient. Despite the lack of staff available, I appreciated the detailed instructions and assistance provided prior to my arrival. The young lady who called me was very helpful and made sure I had all the necessary information. The lobby and common areas were well-decorated and inviting. The room I stayed in, although small, was clean and tidy. I particularly liked the private bathroom, even though it was located outside the room. The air conditioning was a great feature, as it could also be used as a heater, which was perfect for my November stay. The receptionist was friendly and accommodating, allowing me to store my backpack after check-out. The microwave in the shared area was a bonus. I had a lovely stay at Hostal Senero and would recommend it to others.
